Galadima reveals Tinubu gave his daughter Job after Buhari’s govt denied her four-year salary

A chieftain of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP), Buba Galadima, has disclosed that he and Tinubu are both friends, and would get whatever he wants from the president despite their different political affiliations.

Speaking during an interview on AIT Television, Galadima revealed how his daughters once called Tinubu using his mobile phone and told him how they’ve been unable to secure jobs despite their educational qualifications.

Galadima explained how the President ensured to get his daughter a good job, compared to the history his family had with the Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Zainab Buba-Galadima, the daughter of Buba Galadima, had served as a technical assistant in the Office of the Vice President during President Muhammadu Buhari’s first term.

She worked on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) projects under Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

However, Zainab claimed that she was not paid a salary throughout her tenure, which lasted from 2017 to 2019.

Galadima could be heard saying, “We’re friends and will continue, if I like anything from him I can ask and I will get. Infact let me confess something on Television, my daughter did NYSC, the one who lost her passport, that was why she wanted us to go to Mecca to thank God. The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission, headed by Gbenga Komolafe, she wanted to get a job there, they couldn’t give her. Two of them, one of them is a medical doctor, the senior one. So they scrolled my phone and saw the President’s phone number and called Mr President.

“He picked the phone thinking I was the one, then they said they’re my children and that they’re calling him because country is hard, ‘our father can’t get a job for us and he told us that you’re his friend’.

“He said yes of course I’m his friend. The little one said she just finished NYSC and couldn’t get a job with the upstream something headed by Komolafe, he just asked to call Komolafe, go and give my friend’s daughter job, that’s why she wanted to go to Mecca to thank God and also Mr President.

“Then me that worked for Buhari for 13 years, my daughter worked for him for four years and he instructed she shouldn’t be paid salary, so who’s better? Let them bring any voucher where she was paid, she worked for free for four years in Osinbajo’s office. I told her that she should show them that we would not die whether we’re paid salary or not. The one that called Tinubu now, he gave her job.”
