Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has apologised to the Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho over his recent comments.

Guardiola had made reference to his superior ‘six Premier League cup’ record won compared to the three English top-flight league titles Mourinho won during his time at Chelsea.

After Guardiola’s comments, Mourinho admitted that the Premier League titles he won did not involve cases in reference to Man City facing 115 charges for alleged financial fair play breaches.

However, Guardiola has now left a response to Mourinho in relation to the discussion about the Premier League titles won.

Speaking ahead of Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Saturday, Guardiola said, “I would say to José Mourinho that we are innocent until proven guilty.

“If I ever offend him, I am so sorry but it was a joke.

“The fact is… Mourinho has three Premier League titles, I have six! This is a fact.”
