House Committee on Works inspects coastal road

The House Committee on Works, under the leadership of Chairman Akin Alabi, carried out an inspection of the Coastal Road, particularly the recently finished shoreline protection project at Chainage 14.
In a brief announcement on Alabi’s Facebook page, it was noted that this visit is part of the committee’s oversight responsibilities, which aim to guarantee that all projects managed by the Federal Ministry of Works meet high-quality standards and adhere to established timelines.
The announcement states, “I am currently on the Coastal Road with members of the Works Committee to inspect the recently completed Shoreline Protection works around Chainage 14.
“As part of our oversight duties, the committee is committed to ensuring the quality and timely delivery of projects undertaken by the Federal Ministry of Works.”
