I never said Davido was desperate to feature in my song — Olakira

Nigerian singer and songwriter, Adelusola Adefemi, well known as Olakira, has clarified his statements regarding his collaboration with David Adeleke well known as Davido.

This clarification came after singer Asake claimed that Wizkid messaged him to be featured in his album. However, Wizkid fans also claimed that Davido was desperate to be featured in the successful remix of “In My Maserati,” by Olakira

Olakira in his Instagram story on Monday emphasised that he never said Davido was desperate for a feature in the remix of his song titled “In My Maserati”.

Olakira in the post expressed gratitude for Davido’s involvement and confirmed that the collaboration was a mutual decision rather than a one-sided request.

He wrote, “Bloggers abeg start verifying your information before posting nonsense. Nowhere in that interview did I say Davido was desperate.

“Get your facts straight. Unlike some of your favs, David practices UNBUTU, and I’m forever grateful.”

Olakira is a skilful singer/songwriter; he is a multi-talented and versatile musician as he plays a variety of instruments including drums, talking drums, saxophone, guitar and keyboard. Apart from being a singer, he is also a music producer who is known to be very passionate about music.

Recall, Dailyeconomy had earlier reported that Nigerian singer, Ahmed Ololade, well known as Asake, disclosed how Wizkid ended up being featured on the opening track of his album “Lungu Boy.”
