I regret seeking Mohbad’s exhumation – Iyabo Ojo

Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has expressed regret for her earlier seeking exhumation of body of the late singer Mohbad.

Ojo in a recent podcast interview with her colleague Biola Bayo, stated that she wished she hadn’t requested the exhumation, given the subsequent controversies and delays in laying Mohbad to rest.

Iyabo Ojo initially sought the exhumation to determine the cause of Mohbad’s death through an autopsy.

However, the situation became complicated, and she now regrets her involvement.

She said, “I wouldn’t have requested that Mohbad be exhumed If I knew his case would turn out this way.

“I just wanted Mohbad’s body exhumed so they could do the autopsy to find out the cause of his death.

“I did my best to be sure that everyone was investigated but when they came up with different stories, DNA became more important to them.”

Mohbad reportedly passed away on September 12, 2023, and was buried the next day.

His body was later exhumed on September 21, 2023, for an autopsy, as part of the investigation into his death.
