Ikeja Electric suffers another power grid collapse

Power distribution disco, Ikeja Electric, has disclosed that it has experienced a system failure which has affected the supply within its power distribution network.
This was made known in
a terse statement via Ikeja Electric X (formally Twitter) account on Tuesday.
The statement reads, “Dear esteemed customer, Please be informed that we experienced another system outage today, 15/10/2024, @09:17hrs, affecting supply within our network.
“Restoration of supply is ongoing in collaboration with our critical stakeholders. Kindly bear with us.”
The announcement followed the national electricity grid collapse experienced on Monday evening.
