INEC delivers election materials to Akure

The Independent National Electoral Commission has conveyed sensitive election materials to Akure, the Ondo state capital, ahead of the Governorship poll.

According to a terse statement by the commission, on Monday, the materials have been received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria in the State.

The election is slated for Saturday, November 16.

The statement reads, “Sensitive materials for the Ondo State Governorship election, scheduled for Saturday 16th November 2024 have arrived in Akure, the State capital, and received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

“The materials were conveyed to Akure by the Nigeria Airforce.”
