Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company has completed the production of its first locally manufactured electric vehicle in Nnewi, Anambra State.
The locally manufactured electric vehicle was test driven by the IVM’s Head of Communications and Corporate Affairs, Cornel Osigwe.
This was unveiled by Osigwe in a video shared via his Facebook handle.
The caption reads, “I just test-drove the first Innoson vehicle Electric vehicle produced in Nnewi. We are just starting.”
In a follow-up post on Wednesday, he disclosed that the new Innoson Electric Vehicles hasn’t been certified and approved by the Innoson Vehicle quality control department for sales.
Isigwe wrote, “The new Innoson Electric Vehicles as well the one I test drove hasn’t been certified and approved by the Innoson Vehicle quality control department for sales. It is still undergoing the final round of checks.
“More so it hasn’t been officially announced or launched by the company, but I needed to create a buzz before the official announcement and then I did my magic.”
