The President of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), Mrs Ekeoma Ezeibe, has emphasized the need for insurance brokers to adapt to the changing market environment and prioritize client-focused advisory services, data-driven claims management, and digital innovation.

Speaking at the Breakfast With the President event, Mrs. Ezeibe highlighted the importance of moving beyond product-driven solutions to client-first advisory roles, expanding inclusion through affordable micro-insurance, and leveraging digital tools to cut costs and maintain high ethical standards.

The President who has envisioned to lead the industry with innovation, professionalism, inclusion, and trust emphasized the need for industry leaders to empower their staff through knowledge. She further urged them to uphold integrity and transparency, and build public confidence through consistent performance and fair practices.

Ezeibe’s leadership comes at a time when the insurance sector is experiencing significant growth, with total assets rising to N4.4 trillion in Q2 2025. The sector’s growth is driven by increasing awareness and understanding of insurance, regulatory reforms, and digital transformation.
