Insurance for All: CIIN rolls out nationwide activities for inaugural Insurance Week

The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) is set for its maiden Insurance Week with the theme, ‘Insurance for all: Securing Nigeria’s Future’, set to hold from June 28 to July 4, 2025.
This was disclosed during a virtual event organised by the CIIN on Friday, disclosing activities lined up for the upcoming week-long programme.
Speaking, the President, CIIN, Mrs. Yetunde Ilorin, said the event will commence on Saturday, June 28, with an insurance awareness walk that will hold simultaneously in Ibadan, Abuja, Port Harcourt and Kano.
Day two will have an opening ceremony at NIA Hall; Day 3 will be for Insurance Awareness in Secondary School and MSMEs; Day 4 will be for Insurance Outreach; Day 5 for Hackathon Competition. There will also be a Grand Finale event and award presentation.
The Chairman of the Organizing Committee and former Past President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, CIIN, Mr Eddie Efekoha, said a lot of rigour and deliberateness has gone into the planning of the Insurance Week, and everyone involved is looking forward to having an event that will create the needed engagement and stimulate patronage for the insurance industry in the days ahead.
