Isak seeks summer exit from Newcastle

Star striker Alexander Isak has reportedly informed Newcastle United of his desire to explore a transfer move this summer, a development that has prompted the club to begin searching for a new top striker in the market.
The club is aware of Isak’s intentions and will now determine their next steps, as reported by Craig Hope of the Daily Mail.
Despite Isak’s reported desire to leave, Newcastle is in a strong position given he has three years remaining on his contract.
Some reports suggest Isak might be seeking a significant pay raise to remain at the club, with interest from Liverpool and Al-Hilal.
While Champions League qualification was expected to help retain Isak, it’s believed he sees a future move for himself, possibly next summer if a new deal isn’t reached.
Newcastle’s previous transfer windows have seen them miss out on several striker targets, including Liam Delap, who joined Chelsea, and Joao Pedro.
The club has also shown interest in Dominic Calvert-Lewin as a potential option.
Manager Eddie Howe has previously expressed frustration with the slow nature of the team’s transfer business and the difficulty in securing targets.
The club is expected to strengthen its squad, especially after a series of injuries impacted their last Champions League appearance.
