Renowned singer, Oyinkansola Aderibigbe alias Ayra Starr has joined the call for justice after the tragic death of a 300-level student of the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, Christianah Idowu, who was allegedly killed by her friend Ayomide Adeleye.

Idowu was declared missing on August 19, 2024, after her abductor contacted her parents demanding a N3 million ransom. Investigations later revealed that Adeleye had kidnapped and killed Christianah before burying her in his compound, as reported earlier by Dailyeconomy.

Reacting to the gory act, Ayra Starr took to her official X (formally Twitter) account to express her dismay over the tragedy and called for justice for the deceased victim.

The singer stated that men need to stop killing and assaulting women, underscoring that women deserve better treatment.

She wrote, “Stop killing us! Stop raping us! Women deserve better #JusticeForChristianah.”

The hashtag #JusticeForChristianah has been trending across social media as Nigerians express outrage over the incident and demand justice for the slain student.
