Kano police arrest two suspects for stealing police signpost

Two suspects have been arrested for stealing the signpost from Bachirawa Police Station in the Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State.

The arrests according to the state police spokesperson, Abdullahi Kiyawa, were made by the Kano State Police Command, with assistance from local residents who reported the theft.

The police spokesperson noted that the suspects were working together, and the community has since provided a new signpost for the station.

Kiyawa wrote on Facebook, “The person who stole ‘Bachirawa Police Station (Sign Post)’ and the person who collected it is hand in hand.

“The residents of the neighbourhood have brought up a new “Sign Post”.

We are grateful to the people of Bachirawa.”
