Kano police to divert traffic over POLAC passing-out parade

The Kano State Police Command has announced a diversion of traffic ahead of the passing out parade of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Kano State.
The event is set to kick-start from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Nigeria Police Academy Wudil, Kano Parade Ground next Saturday, September 7, 2024.
The statement on Thursday signed by the state police spokesperson, Abdullahi Kiyawa, disclosed that dignitaries and crowds are expected at the passing out which made the state police command under the leadership of the Kano Commissioner for Police, Salman Dogo Garba, advised the road users to “Exercise patience and caution, avoid reckless and dangerous driving, refrain from over-speeding, observe all traffic rules and regulations, and consider alternative routes between 0700hrs and 1400hrs”.
“To ensure a smooth traffic flow, traffic personnel will be deployed at strategic locations within the State.
“The Commissioner of Police appreciates the public’s understanding, encouragement, and continuous support. The Command remains committed to safeguarding lives and properties,” the statement reads.
