Kwara gov congratulates Eniola for achieving second position in badminton global ranking

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has hailed the superlative rise of Nigeria’s para-badminton sensation, Mariam Bolaji Eniola to second place in the world.

The Kwara-born athlete was recently ranked number two in the world by the global body of the game.

However, in an X (formally Twitter) post on Sunday, Eniola dedicated the feat to the Kwara governor and Nigerians.

AbdulRazaq according to a statement Dailyeconomy obtained on Sunday evening from his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye said Eniola’s rise is attributable to hard work, grit, consistency, and humility in victory.

“Governor Abdulrazaq wishes Eniola greater wins at the upcoming Paris 2024 Paralympic Games and throughout her promising career,” the statement reads in a part.
