Ibraheem Abdullateef, Senior Special Assistant on Communication to Kwara Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has extended an invitation to former Senate President and ex-Governor Bukola Saraki to visit and witness the extensive development projects across Kwara State since 2019.

Abdullateef in statement made available for our correspondent on Tuesday, underscored the significance of showcasing the progress, saying, “It would be lovely to show the elder statesman the depth of change Kwara has witnessed across sectors since changing leadership in 2019”.

He also offered a guided tour to Saraki’s followers, stating, “If Sarakites truly have no eyes or ears to understand the import of the progress Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has made in Kwara, I offer a tour guide with my team, first in their own very local government, before coming to the capital. It is part of my job to provide education for those willing to learn”.

Highlighting the achievements under Governor AbdulRazaq, Abdullateef listed infrastructure milestones including two flyovers, a Sugar Film Factory, an Innovation Hub, the largest ICU in North Central Nigeria, a Garment Factory, and extensive renovation of over 600 schools; key health and hospitality facilities are also being upgraded, such as the Kwara Hotel and a former civil service clinic being turned into a state-of-the-art hospital.

However, Abdullateef praised the governor’s performance, noting public admiration, “I hear it on the street every time, we get mails and messages on social media.

“Governor AbdulRazaq is making it a cake walk to lead the state for sustainable development for anyone whose priority is just that”.

Dailyeconomy gathered that last July, AbdulRazaq inspected projects in the State.
