Lagos begins removal of damaged buildings

Lagos State Building Control Agency has begun the removal of buildings exhibiting signs of damage in Ashogbon Street, Isale Eko, Lagos Island axis of the state.
This was made known in a video shared via the X (formally Twitter) account of LASBCA on Tuesday.
The video captioned, “LASBCA has commenced the removal of buildings exhibiting signs of distress in Ashogbon Street, Isale Eko, Lagos Island.
“Safety first! LASBCA prioritises the well-being of Lagos residents.”
Dailyeconomy on Monday, October 14, reported that a two-storey building in the Orile Iganwu area of Lagos had collapsed on Monday morning.
