Lagos conducts emergency flood cleanup

The Lagos Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, conducted city’s swift action against flooding by highlighting the efforts of the Emergency Flood Abatement Gang (EFAG).

In a statement on Saturday, Wahab wrote, “Our dedicated team from the Emergency Flood Abatement Gang (EFAG) of Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources conducted cleaning of Nnamdi Azikwe Street in Lagos Island.”

The operation reflects the government’s commitment to tackling the persistent flood challenges in Lagos, aiming to ensure safer and cleaner urban spaces for residents and visitors.

The Commissioner concluded his update with the hashtag #CleanerLagos, emphasising the ongoing drive toward environmental cleanliness and flood control in the metropolis.
