The operatives of the Environmental Sanitation Corps well known as KAI have begun removing illegal structures built on drainage along the Ebutte Meta – Oyingbo market corridor.
The operation follows the expiration of served notices and direct one-on-one advocacy in the area.
This was adjudged on the agency’s X (formally Twitter) handle on Thursday.
It reads, “Following the expiration of served notices and direct one-on-one advocacy, our Environmental Sanitation Corps #LAGESCOfficial have now begun removing illegal structures built on drainage along the Ebutte Meta – Oyingbo market corridor.
“This decisive action reaffirms our zero-tolerance policy toward environmental nuisances and is a critical step in restoring clean, safe public spaces for all Lagosians.”
