Lagos Health Commissioner Abayomi undergoes eye surgery at local hospital

Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Akin Abayomi, has disclosed that he recently underwent an eye surgery at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja.
Abayomi disclosed this while appreciating the oculoplastic surgeons in the Eye Department of the clinic.
This was made known in a remark Abayomi shared on X (formally Twitter) on Friday.
Oculoplastic surgeons are ophthalmologists who specialise in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the periorbital and facial tissues including the eyelids, eyebrows, forehead, cheeks, orbit (bony cavity around the eye), and lacrimal (tear) system.
