Lagos lists requirements for layout approvals after giving estates ultimatum

The Lagos State Government has listed requirements for Layout Approvals to builders and estate owners.

It released the list after identifying 176 illegal estate developments, predominantly located in the Eti-Osa, Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki, and Epe axis of the state, and has given them a 21-day ultimatum to process their layout approvals.
The following are the requirements for Layout Approvals:

1. Application Letter addressed to the Commissioner by a Town Planning Consultant
2. . One copy of original perimeter survey plan.
3. Geo referenced Layout plan on topography map prepared, stamped, signed and sealed by a registered Town planner.
4. Contour map of not less than 3m intervals
5. Topography map showing spot height
6. 3D contour map
7. Location plan
8. Soft copy of the layout plan
9. Physical Planning Technical report
10. Subsoil investigation report
11. Title document
12. Engineering Details
13. Aerial drone footage of subject site
14. Registration fee and Statutory assessment fee
