Lagos nabs 27 suspects in Ikeja raid

The operatives of the Lagos State Taskforce have arrested about 27 suspects following a raid in some notable spots within the Ikeja, area of the State.

A post shared on Saturday, by the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to Lagos Governor, Jubril Gawat, claimed that the suspects had turned those spots into a haven to perpetrate evil acts by unleashing attacks on unsuspecting late and early hours innocent passers-by.

He wrote, “In the early hours of today, the Lagos State Taskforce #Taskforce112 embarked on RAID of some notable spots within Ikeja where some UNDESIRABLE elements have turned to a safe haven to perpetrate evil act by unleashing attack on unsuspecting late and early hours innocent passers-by particularly, those coming in and out of Ambiance Hotel within the area. They dispossess them of their personal belongings.

“The area raided includes; black spots around Ayinke House, Ikeja under bridge and all around Ambiance Hotel.

“27 suspects were arrested and will be charged to court immediately.”
