Lagos State Police Command has emphasised its zero-tolerance stance on officer misconduct today Tuesday, assuring the public that all complaints undergo rigorous investigation.
The statement, issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), SP Abimbola Adebisi, comes amid rising concerns over unverified reports circulating online.
“Lagos State Police Command does not handle Police misconduct lightly. Hence, every complaints received from members of the public are thoroughly investigated,” the PRO stated.
The release further cautioned against misinformation, adding, “The public is therefore advised to verify claims before disseminating such.”
This advisory highlights ongoing efforts to build trust through transparency, as Lagos police tackle both internal accountability and public perceptions in a digital age rife with viral allegations.
