Lagos to host 2025 Best of Nollywood awards

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has disclosed that Lagos State will host the 2025 edition of the Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards.

Sanwo-Olu, in a statement shared on Monday via his official X handle described the hosting rights as an opportunity to reaffirm the state’s commitment to the creative industry in Lagos and across Nigeria.

He noted that Nollywood is not only a vital part of the nation’s culture but also a key driver of the economy and Nigeria’s global identity.

He wrote, “This is an opportunity to show our deep commitment to the creative industry in Lagos and across Nigeria. Nollywood is a vital part of our culture, our economy, and our global identity. We remain committed to supporting the creative industry, and we are ready to make this year’s BON Awards truly special.”
