LAPO MFB’s MD wins Microfinance Bank CEO of the Year at 2025 MSME Awards

LAPO Microfinance Bank has once again demonstrated its leadership in Nigeria’s financial inclusion space as its Managing Director, Mrs. Cynthia Ikponmwosa, emerged Microfinance Bank CEO of the Year at the 2025 MSME Finance & CEO Awards held recently in Lagos.

The award recognises Mrs. Ikponmwosa’s exceptional leadership, strategic innovation, and unwavering commitment to advancing financial access for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and underserved communities across Nigeria.

Under her leadership, LAPO Microfinance Bank has strengthened its position as a trusted partner in empowering entrepreneurs, promoting women-led businesses, and driving inclusive economic growth.
