The Lagos Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, has announced the successful apprehension of four individuals involved in illegal refuse dumping near Ayobo-Ipaja Road.
Wahab tweeted on Saturday, “The LAWMA Waste Infractions Surveillance and Investigation Team apprehended four individuals for illegally disposing of refuse at an unauthorized location in the vicinity of Ayobo-Ipaja Road during a pre-dawn operation that extended into the morning of December 4, 2025.”
The suspects—Okoro Stella (50), Abraham Oluwalogbin (25), Nwakego Chiyenre (48), and Ofili Tolulope (19)—have been transferred to the LAWMA legal team at the Oshodi Mobile Court for further legal action.
This operation reinforces Lagos State’s commitment to maintaining a cleaner environment, as Wahab emphasized with the hashtag #CleanerLagos.
