Lekki-Epe Airport project: Sanwo-Olu visits Turkish construction company

Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has visited Istanbul, Turkey, where he led a team from Lagos to engage with executives of a key player in the construction sector, Summa Group, for the potential collaboration on the Lekki-Epe Airport project.
This was made known in a statement on the X (formally Twitter) handle of the Sanwo-Olu Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile.
The statement reads, “Lagos State Governor Jide Sanwo-Olu is on a working visit to Istanbul, Turkey, leading a team from the State to engage with executives of a globally recognized organization, Summa Group, a key player in the construction sector, for the Lekki-Epe International Airport.
“The Lekki/Epe International Airport will significantly improve connectivity in Lagos State and alleviate congestion at Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
“Mr. Selim Bora, the Chairman of Summa International Construction Inc., provided our team with a tour of their projects, showcasing the company’s expertise and commitment to quality. The group has a proven track record in delivering large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
“This is a follow-up visit to many of such that have been embarked upon by Mr Governor with a view to improving the lives of Lagosians and bequeath a lasting legacy for the generations to come.”
