Lookman, Vinicius, others nominated for 2024 Globe Soccer Awards

Atalanta and Nigeria Super Eagle winger Ademola Lookman has been nominated for the 2024 Globe Soccer Awards.

The organisers of the award announced the name of the nominees on Thursday, via its X (formally Twitter) handle on Thursday.

Lookman is nominated alongside top stars like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Vinicius Junior, Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland.

Dayeconomy reports that Lookman finished 14th in the 2024 Ballon d’Or ranking and is also in the running for the CAF Men’s Player of the Year.

The 27-year-old winger has been in fantastic form this season for both club and country.

Lookman scored three goals in seven appearances for Nigeria at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.

He also scored a historic hat-trick for Atalanta in the final of the UEFA Europa League against Bayer Leverkusen.

However, in the current season, m Lookman has scored 10 goals. 1 goals in national team( Friendlies). In the club he scored 9 goals ( Champions League, UEFA Supercup, Serie A, Friendlies).

He has also had five assists, and played 2185 minutes, with 16 times he played game in the first line this season.
