Former Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, has expressed gratitude following his recent interaction with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

In a post on X, Malami stated, “In line with my undertaking to keep Nigerians updated on my invitation by EFCC, I give glory to Allah for his divine intervention.”

He described the engagement as “successful” and confirmed that he was “eventually released while on an appointment for further engagement as the truth relating to the fabricated allegations against me continue to unfold.”

This came amid ongoing scrutiny and investigations by EFCC, which he asserted involve baseless accusations.
