The Delta State Police Command has arrested a lad identified as Isaac, for accusing police officers stole his phone (Samsung fold 4) while conducting their stop and search duties.
Dailyeconomy obtained this in a video shared by the State Police Public Relations Officer, Bright Edafe on Thursday.
Edafe could be heard saying, “An incident involving a man named Isaac was detailed. After being searched and released, Isaac discovered that his phone was missing.
“He subsequently contacted his friend Fejiro, who admitted to having the phone. Isaac then instructed Fejiro to deny possessing the device in an attempt to accuse and undermine the officers who had conducted the stop-and-search operation on him.
However, Edafe stated that both of them would be arraigned in court at the end of their investigation.
The video caption reads, “We are just doing our job, I don’t know why someone who was searched and asked to go will choose to come back intentionally to implicate the Police.
“He knew the Samsung Phone (Samsung fold 4) was with his friend, he told his friend to deny knowledge so he could accuse the policemen of taking it.”
