An unidentified man collapsed and died during his wife’s 60th birthday Thanksgiving celebration in Lagos State.

The incident was brought to light with the emergence of a video late on Saturday, showing the man and his wife at the event.

In the video, the man was seen singing praises into a microphone while his wife joyfully danced beside him in celebration of her 60th birthday.

Tragically, the man collapsed on the ground and reportedly passed away shortly after.

As the video circulated online, concerned individuals flooded the comment section to share their reactions.

While some held that the man might be nursing some sickness, others blamed the wife for not acting fast to safe him after he had notified her of how he was feeling.

“He told the wife how he’s feeling but the wife was too lazy to hold him and call for help. Please I hope he did not die ooooo ……. when you know your partners health there should be level of stress you shouldn’t allow them into…. May God give you the comfort you need cos I know you will never forgive yourself your husband kpaing on your Birthday party,” a netizen, Chidimma Ohaeri Azuogu wrote.

Another user, Chijioke Stanley wrote, “I think he demonstrate something to his wife, I think he needed water to calm down but it happens so fast, you can blame the woman but blame the man because he knew his health condition before going to the Thanksgiving, it has happened, May his soul rest in peace.”
