Manchester United has been ranked as the second most valuable football club in the world in 2025, with a valuation of approximately $6.6 billion, according to Forbes.

The club generated $834 million in revenue last season, making it the most valuable club in the Premier League.

Despite some recent challenges on the pitch, Manchester United’s strong global fanbase and commercial partnerships have underpinned this high valuation.

The club’s valuation closely follows Real Madrid, which remains the most valuable club globally for the fourth consecutive year.

Forbes highlighted that Manchester United’s value benefits from its historical dominance in English and European football, with revenue streams from matchday, broadcast, commercial deals, and brand strength playing critical roles in this financial stature.

As stated in the Forbes report, “Manchester United ranks second at $6.6 billion. Despite on-pitch volatility, United’s worldwide fanbase and sponsor roster underpin resilient commercial income and high global media relevance, which are critical inputs to valuation”.

This valuation makes Manchester United the leader in value within the Premier League, ahead of clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City, solidifying its status as a financial powerhouse in football.
