In a precautionary move highlighting Manchester United’s depth for the business end of the season, forwards Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Šeško have been withdrawn from international duty with Cameroon and Slovenia, respectively.

The duo will stay in Manchester to address recent fitness niggles, as confirmed by renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano’s update emphasised the club’s caution, “Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Šeško will not join their national team and remain in Manchester to manage their recent fitness issues.”

Mbeumo and Šeško, both arrivals during the 2025 summer transfer window, have formed a lethal attacking trio with Matheus Cunha. The trio has combined for over 25 Premier League goals this season—outpacing even midfielder Bruno Fernandes in front of goal.

Their chemistry shone in recent outings, including Mbeumo’s key assist to Šeško in February’s victory over Everton.
