In a dramatic El Clásico at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, Kylian Mbappé netted a stunning hat-trick for Real Madrid, yet it was not enough to prevent a 4-3 defeat to Barcelona on Sunday.

Madrid surged early with Mbappé scoring twice by the 14th minute, but Barcelona rallied with goals from Eric Garcia, Lamine Yamal, and a brace from Raphinha to lead 4-2 at halftime.

Mbappé completed his hat-trick in the 70th minute, pulling Madrid within one, but Barcelona held on for the win, extending their lead atop La Liga to seven points with just three games remaining.

This victory marks Barcelona’s fourth win over Madrid this season, putting them on the brink of clinching the league title despite Mbappé’s individual brilliance.
