MD Naval Dockyard bags Productivity and Proficiency Order of Merit
The MD/CEO Naval Dockyard Limited, Rear Admiral Abolaji Abolade Orederu has been bestowed the prestigious Productivity and Proficiency Order of Merit (2024) PPOM , an exclusive preserve for: integrity, excellence, distinction presented by the Productivity and Proficiency Projects Nigeria, a consortium of Public Service valuers who apply global indexes in the measurement of Productivity and Proficiency in Public Service Administration and Management.
The Rear Admiral Orederu was recently decorated with the paraphernalia in the precinct of Naval Dockyard Limited,Victoria Island in Lagos, witnessed and applauded by the officers and men of the Naval formation.
The Director Research and Development of (PPP Nigeria), Dr. Adebowale Balogun stated that “at the end of the institution’s 3rd Quarter Survey on human capital and resource index predicated on: Productivity, Proficiency, Service Delivery, Statutory mandate, Stewardship they found Rear Admiral Orederu worthy of commendation, recognition and decoration as an exemplary Nigerian Naval Officer who had raised the bar of dedication, commitment and courage whose footprints of service are indelible.
The MD Naval Dockyard in his response expressed profound appreciation and described it as a challenge that would spur him to strive harder, dedicating the accolade to the committed officers and men of the Naval formation and especially the relentless and visionary leadership of the Chief of Naval Staff.
