Military men vandalise Ikeja DisCo’s office

In a shocking incident on Thursday, personnel from the Nigerian Air Force, from the Sam Ethnan Air Force Base, launched an aggressive attack on the headquarters of Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company in Ikeja, Lagos.
The attackers wreaked havoc by destroying office doors and seizing various equipment, including computers, phones, and CCTV devices.
A spokesperson for Ikeja Electric revealed that the raid was in retaliation for a significant debt, as the Air Force Base had been disconnected from power due to an outstanding N4 billion bill.
During the attack, armed personnel forced IKEDC employees to kneel, physically assaulted staff, and severely disrupted the company’s operations.
