Ministry of Health commences free cancer screening for women Tuesday

The Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has announced a free cancer screening programme to commemorate this year’s World Cancer Day.
The free cervical and breast cancer screening is said to commence on Tuesday 4, till Thursday, 6 February, at the Federal Medical Center, Jabi, Abuja.
The announcement was shared on the Ministry’s X (formally Twitter) account on Saturday.
The post reads, “This World Cancer Day, we stand #UnitedByUnique—because every woman deserves a healthy future!
“Join us from February 4–6 at the Federal Medical Center, Jabi, Abuja for FREE cervical and breast cancer screening. Early detection saves lives, and YOU are worth it!.
