The naira was bought and sold for N1,600/$ and N1,605/$ at the parallel market on Monday, August 5.
Bureau de Change operators who disclosed this to Dailyeconomy said the naira was bought and sold at N2,050/£ and N1,100/£; it was bought and sold for N1,720/€ and N1,750/€ according to the BDCs.
At the Investor & Exporter forex window, the naira hit a high of N1,620.50/$, before closing at N1,607.15/$, figures obtained from the FMDQ revealed.
Trading on the official forex window recorded a turnover of $77.09m at the close of business on Monday.
