Nasboi releases statement as tour continues

Popular skit maker and rising music sensation, Nasboi, has released a heartfelt statement after surviving a recent accident during his tour for a feature with global superstar Davido. 

Despite the unexpected incident, Nasboi is determined to continue his tour, showing resilience and dedication to his craft.

In his statement, Nasboi expressed gratitude for the support from fans and assured everyone of his commitment to delivering outstanding performances throughout the remainder of the tour.

Nasboi expressed gratitude for being alive and promised to continue his mission despite the terrifying experience.

He further revealed that the journey has become more than just about getting a verse from Davido, but now about proving his resilience and determination.

The statement reads, “Exactly eight days into my 36-day campaign across Nigeria, what started as a bold, creative plea for a verse from the legendary Davido has now taken on a life of its own.

“Yes, the accident happened and yes, it was terrifying. But I am alive, and for that, I am grateful. I have seen the concerns, the criticisms, and the backlash. I hear you. But I refuse to let this moment be defined by fear, shame, or public opinion. For me, this is now bigger than a verse from Davido.

“This journey is no longer just about music. It has become a personal mission to prove that I can weather storms, face real danger, and still keep moving forward. It’s about resilience. It’s about showing the world, and myself, that once I set my heart on something, I finish it.

“I will continue this campaign not out of desperation, but out of purpose. I hope someone out there sees this and finds the courage to keep going, even when the road gets rough. We rise not by convenience, but by conviction.”

Nasboi has toured eight states as part of his ongoing 36-day kneeling tour across Nigeria, seeking a music collaboration Davido. The

 campaign involves Nasboi kneeling in front of government secretariats in each state, holding a placard pleading for a verse from Davido.

Confirming that he has continue his tour follow the accident the singer posted a picture of himself kneeling down in front of  Bauchi State Ministry of Education with the caption, “Day 8 Bauchi state. @davido 🙏”.

He has previously visited, Osun State, Kano State, Niger, Katsina, Anambra, and Imo State.
