NEM Group on Friday hosted its 2025 End-of-Year Party, bringing together management and staff of the group and its subsidiaries, NEM Insurance Plc, NEM Asset Management and NEM Health, to celebrate the a successful business year.

The event, held at the company’s head office in Lagos, featured music, social activities, goodwill messages and the presentation of prizes to outstanding staff, as the organisation reflected on its achievements in 2025 and appreciated employees for their dedication and contributions to the group’s growth.

Speaking at the event, the Group Chairman, Tope Smart, attributed the group’s strong performance to divine grace, noting that both the parent company and its subsidiaries surpassed their set targets for the year.

Smart commended the leadership of the subsidiaries, as well as customers, partners, staff and other stakeholders for their support, and announced a salary increase for employees.

He highlighted the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) licence obtained by NEM Asset Management as a major milestone that would enable business expansion and drive growth beyond previous limits.

Also speaking, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of NEM Insurance Plc, Andrew Ikekhua, said the company recorded significant progress in 2025, including the opening of new branches, the launch of new products and increased investments in technology.

He added that the company also received several industry awards in recognition of its excellent service delivery, expressing optimism for even stronger performance in the coming year.
