The National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA), chartered, established by Act of Parliament No. 26 of 2022, is pleased to announce a landmark partnership with the London Postgraduate Credit Management College (LPCMC), UK, to internationalize Nigerian credit management professionals through the globally recognized “Global Postgraduate Specialist Associate (GPSA) and Global Postgraduate Specialist Fellow (GPSF) certification programmes in credit management”.
A statement from the Registrar/Chief Executive Officer, Prof. Chris Onalo, NICA, today said this strategic collaboration leverages NICA’s statutory mandate as Nigeria’s sole chartered body for the control, supervision and regulation of credit management profession in Nigeria, and LPCMC’s prestige as a leading UK-based postgraduate credit management institution. The initiative is designed to equip Nigerian credit professionals across all sectors of the economy with globally competitive credentials, reinforcing their resumes for top-tier roles in the international credit industry space.
As this synergy undergoes the testing of waters, NICA calls on its members who are the credit professionals in banking, fin-tech, manufacturing, oil & gas, Fast- Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), and the credit-using business owners to take advantage of this opportunity to elevate their expertise and align with global best practices.
Through this partnership, NICA reaffirms its commitment to deepening credit culture in Nigeria, advancing credit and financial inclusion, and positioning Nigeria as ahub of world-class credit management talent.
