Nigeria, France deepen bilateral relations with focus on economic growth

The Federal Government of Nigeria and the French government are reinforcing their partnership, with an emphasis on economic development and mutual cooperation.
According to a report Dailyeconomy from the Ministry of Finance on Saturday dusk, France’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Marc Fonbaustier had a meeting with the Ngeria Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the economy Wale Edun last Friday at Finance HQ to discuss economic cooperation and deepen bilateral relations.
During the meeting after the Frence representative praised the Nigeria government for promoting economic growth, Edun highlighted a shared commitment to strengthening key sectors of Nigeria’s economy and fostering sustainable development.
The report reads, “France’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Marc Fonbaustier, met with the Honourable Minister of Finance & Coordinating Minister of the economy Mr. Wale Edun on Friday at Finance HQ to discuss economic cooperation and deepen bilateral relations.
“Fonbaustier commended the government’s efforts in stabilising the economy and promoting growth. HM Edun, in turn, highlighted Nigeria’s commitment to attracting investment and strengthening public-private partnerships to drive sustainable development.”
