The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has unveiled a new digital platform—https://cerpac.immigration.gov.ng—for processing the Combined Expatriate Residence Permit and Automated Card (CERPAC) applications.
According to ACI Akinlabi, the Service’s Public Relations Officer, “This innovative portal is part of the Federal Government’s ongoing reforms to boost the efficiency, transparency, and user experience at the Immigration Service.”
Effective January 2025, all
CERPAC applications must be completed solely through the online portal; any paper forms submitted after the deadline will be rendered void.
“We urge individuals and companies responsible for expatriate immigration matters to complete pending submissions promptly to avoid inconvenience,” Akinlabi emphasised, assuring that all inquiries should be directed to his office at the NIS Headquarters, Abuja.
