Nigeria presents Africa’s first AfCFTA implementation review

Nigeria has presented Africa’s first five-year AfCFTA Implementation Review.

Jumoke Oduwole, Nigeria’s representative at the AfCFTA Ministerial Roundtable, made this announcement.

In a post on her official X account, Oduwole noted that the report provides practical recommendations aimed at shaping Nigeria’s strategy within the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and encouraging other African countries to pursue similar initiatives.

Her post stated, “At the AfCFTA Ministerial Roundtable, I joined fellow African ministers to share strategies for advancing the AfCFTA.

“Nigeria presented Africa’s first 5-Year AfCFTA Implementation Review—offering actionable recommendations to guide our strategy and inspire others.”
