Nigeria releases emergency contacts for citizens in Middle East amid Iran-Israel war

Nigeria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has released emergency contact numbers for Nigerian nationals in the region, urging them to register with local embassies and seek help if affected.

The advisory, signed on Saturday by the Ministry spokesperson, Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa,
emphasises established communication channels through Nigerian missions.

“Nigerian citizens affected by the ongoing crisis should contact the following mobile numbers in case of emergency and also ensure that they are registered with the respective Embassy or Consulate in their country of residence,” the statement reads.

This comes after the government suspended pilgrimages to Israel and prepared evacuation options.
