The Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment has launched the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS) on the Government Cloud Platform, marking a key step in modernising Nigeria’s public sector operations.
Led by Minister Dr Jumoke Oduwole, the initiative aims to streamline records management, workflows, and information handling.
In an official statement from the Presidency, it was announced, “Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment Launches Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS).”
The system promises to enhance efficiency, transparency, and institutional performance, enabling faster decision-making and more effective service delivery.
This launch aligns with the Ministry’s digital transformation efforts under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Support came from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, led by Didi Esther Walson-Jack, alongside Galaxy Backbone and other partners.
Stakeholders emphasised its impact, noting that the ECMS “strengthens the Ministry’s capacity to deliver a responsive and future-ready public service.”
