Nigeria, US to strengthen regional security

The United States (US) State Department Senior Advisor for Africa Massad Boulos has met with President Bola Tinubu in Paris, France where he is currently on a short working visit.
The duo, during the meeting discussed regional security including working together with partners to build a durable peace in the region.
This was made known on Friday, via a statement on the X (formally Twitter) account of the U.S. Mission in Nigeria.
The statement reads, “State Department Senior Advisor for Africa Massad Boulos met with President Tinubu on Thursday to discuss regional security including working together with partners to build a durable peace in eastern DRC.
“They also discussed expanding opportunities for economic cooperation throughout Africa.”
