NNPC commits to global energy partnerships

The Group Chief Executive Officer of NNPC Limited, Bashir Ojulari, spearheaded a high-level delegation to the NNPC exhibition booth at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC 2025), reinforcing the company’s dedication to global partnerships, energy equity, and sustainable investment.

In a statement on Monday, NNPC highlighted that Ojulari was “welcomed by the Executive Vice President, Business Services, Sophia Mbakwe, and other senior executives,” with the NNPC Board Chairman and members also in attendance, showcasing unified leadership at the world’s premier energy event.

During a closed session of the esteemed Global Oil Club, the GCEO emphasised the critical mission of ending energy poverty across Africa, calling for shared investment strategies to reduce risks in energy infrastructure.

He stated, “Africa’s energy future must be built on collaboration, innovation, and inclusion. NNPC Limited stands ready to co-create solutions that will deliver real impact.”

Impact, closely aligns with NNPC’s transformation as a commercially driven global energy company.

On the conference’s opening day, Ojulari engaged in strategic discussions with global energy leaders focused on gas infrastructure, decarbonisation, and upstream investment opportunities.

Also actively contributing, NNPC’s Executive Vice President, Upstream, Mr. Udy Ntia, presented in the Global Strategy Session on Beyond the Barrel: The Future of Upstream Strategy.

He affirmed NNPC’s commitment to co-investing in industry-wide solutions while accelerating Nigeria’s oil and gas production in alignment with national and regional energy goals.

The NNPC booth at ADIPEC 2025 is drawing significant international attention by showcasing transformative projects, including major gas developments, methane reduction efforts, and expansion into clean energy and human capital.
