NNPC donates 10 CNG Buses to DAPPMAN

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Foundation has donated 10 Compressed Natural Gas buses to the Depots and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria.
This contribution according to a statement by NNPC is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support the Federal Government’s drive towards increasing CNG usage across the country.
The Managing Director of NNPC Foundation, Emmanuella Arukwe, who made the donation on behalf of the Company, stated that the move by the NNPC Foundation is expected to provide a significant boost to the CNG initiative in Nigeria, promoting the adoption of cleaner and more cost-effective fuel alternatives.
The statement partly reads, “In its continued efforts to support the Federal Government’s drive towards deepening Compressed
Natural Gas (CNG) utilisation nationwide, the NNPC Ltd, through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm, NNPC Foundation, has donated 10 CNG buses to cushion the effects of transportation on Nigerians.
“Managing Director of NNPC Foundation, Mrs.
Emmanuella Arukwe, who made the donation on behalf of the Company, said the gesture, under the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN) Initiative on CNG, is aimed at providing cheaper transportation for Nigerians, promoting cleaner alternative sources of energy and boosting the nation’s economy.”
Dailyeconomy on August 8, reported that The NNPC denied the allegations of economic sabotage, noting that it has not breached any laws guiding its dealings with partners.
