The Director General of the National Orientation Agency, Lanre Issa-Onilu has assured that the agency is committed to engaging Nigerians with the government’s programmes, policies, and activities.
Issa-Onilu, in his closing remarks at the 3-day Expanded Management Retreat held at Amazon Kayak affirmed that Nigerians will see more of the Agency on the streets.
He said, “I am assuring you that once again Nigerians will see more of the Agency on the streets, on their televisions, on their phones, and hear us on their radios.”
He acknowledged that while past challenges cannot be undone, the Agency is entering a new era of accountability, where every officer is held responsible for both the visibility and effectiveness of the NOA.
He further brought out the necessity for change, stating that the restructuring and rebranding of the Agency’s operations is crucial to fulfilling its mandate.
